Again, I woke up late. Due to late night again.
Today's main Agenda was an outing with Sok Zhen, David and Eric
Since last night Eric has been telling me how in love he is with my SX Electric model. He said he tried it out at his senior's house and fell in love with at.
That left me laughing.
For todays' outing , both David and I have been planning for this since last week.
Alright, We met at City hall MRT station. I introduced Eric to the Sok and David. Crossed over to the East-West line. And Went off to Paya Lebar MRT.
The first destination of the Day was to Synwin.
My aim was to collect my guitar Strip
David: to Scout for His guitar.
At Synwin, we spent a lot of time waiting for David to test and hear all the guitar he wanted. From the ones i tried the last time round to other. He went from Acoustic Guitar to Electric guitar. So much so that the sale man :MR Tay had to go off for a puff.
And the Boss (i think his the boss) came over to take over. Always seeing him going all holy on the violin, Little would i have known that he also dam holy on the guitar.
i went ga-ga over his playing. What ever i played just now, he played it more rock-ish.
I really have to buck up on both my instruments. It just want to make me scream!!!
Ok a long time ofter we spent at Synwin. We went off to Peninsular for Eric's electric guitar. But before going over, we went for a short walk in the Tanjong Katong complex. David and Sok went to a Donut stall and started a huge joke.

Had a big laugh and went off to Peninsular.
At Peninsular, we literally walked into the same guitar shop 3 times this evening. Davis Guitar
Too mushc Guitar scouting. i shall not blabber too much.
After Peninsular, we went on to Bras Brasah Complex/plaza? foe More Guitar scouting. Went to Swee lee company shop. And we stayed till the shop close. But i dare say their service at Swee lee is not as good. They did not seem to care if Customers wanted to try the guitars. At least you should ask the Customers if they are looking for a guitar or something like that.
At around 7Pm we went back to peninsular. For the three and last time we Visited Davis Guitar
Eric Bought his guitar than. AND DAM!!!!! HE GOT AN SX SG CUT GUITAR!!!!!! ARH!!!!!
Than we went jamming at Jade music, Till about 9.15. and than it was Home sweet home for us.

Saturday 22 November.
Woke up pretty early. Again for my sister's Violin sake.Went about the usual things. Kenneth had to go to school early in the morning for His school open house. His Debut PDS performance today. Good luck man!!!
After My Sister's class, we went home for a while for my medicine and a toilet pit stop. After that we were off to Synwin. This time with my Dam Old Kapok and finally my new acoustic guitar. Once at Tanjong Katong Complex, Cheralyn kept pestering my mother for the Sardine sandwich she had last week while repairing both our violin. of course lunch was around the corner and thus she did not get it....
At Synwin, We asked to be served by the same guy whom introduced me to the strong acoustic guitar he has to offer. His name was Fasser Tay. However, he wasn't there till around 12pm, so we went round the complex once again to let the time pass by till he reports for work. (we were there at about 11.30 as the shop only opens at 11am). Once he arrived, the shop attendant called my Father and i was more than ready to get my KAPOK recondition and to reduce the Action. Also to Finally get a proper Acoustic guitar.
But by gainning this acoustic guitar, I have place a stop to all other thing i have planned for my "After O level Fun Pack" My intial plan was to get a New Amplifier for my electric guitar (at least 15watt with guitar effects build in), An IFO (I Love to fly one of those) and maybe a new acoustic guitar. But now, its a stop on those. I'm not rich and my Father has difficulty in finding money. So..... A DAM GOOD ACOUSTIC GUITAR FOR NOW.
Alright, so the Guitar salesman came. i passed him my KAPOK and he brought it in to recondition it. 5 minutes later, he came out saying: Your 4th, 5th and 6th strings have worn out, i change ar??
Ok... so i changed the strings. Lowered the action by a tinny little bit. Now the guitar strings look so shinning!!! (photo at the bottom of the post). While he was at my KAPOK he pass me one of his new stock that he brought out. The sound was not very good. Of course i go for sound quality and not the bloody brand.
Once done he came out and started to introduce me to some other guitar. Unfortunately, the guitar that i wanted from last Saturday was already sold. So he took out a few other for me to try. The sound was quite Sharp and mellow at the same time just what i wanted. However, still not really what i was looking for. Until around the last minute when i was about to purchase another guitar i was egg on by my father to go have a last look at the entire range of guitar. It was than i saw another one that fit my liking.
I immediatally fall in love with its sound.
Also priced at 278.20 w/GST... I bought it. Thus my New Guitar is borned.

So i went to get one too...

My day started out a mess. AS usual dig right out of bed. Why can't i ever get more sleep??
In addition, I'm on drug/medication.
As usual again, My Mother would leave me at home to "wake up". And my phone was out of battery. So i stayed home for an extra half hour to at least get it to 30% battery to last till at least 3pm.
Charged my phone. And i was off to find my Mother and sister at Causeway point shopping mall.
Once there i was directed to meet them at Toastbox.
At ToastBox i had a Cold Barley before we went off to shop.
My initial plan for today's trip to Causeway point was to only scout for the price range of the Jim Dunlop Trigger Acoustic Capo. But it turned out to be the same Nett price around. Must be the shipment fee?? or the Brand name that affects the price.
Nevermind. In the end i decided to get it and i have no regrets.
Yay!! don't need to sing Damn regret the whole day like last Saturday.
Ate lunch at Gelera Cafe. The food was splendid. Had Pork Rib with pasta. Nice Chunk of meat!!!

NCC Air Annual Campfire night or the lesser known CO night.
This year's CO night was a little special. It was sort of a gathering of all of AMKSS NCC AIR Past and present(almost said future). Batches dating back to 1998, came. Of course i don't even know them?
However, those that made a name, we recognised.
One such person was one called Mdm Ong. Amongst the few rare Female pilots around. She works for an airline as a commercial airline company as a pilot.
Other than being a gathering it was also a Barbaque session.
Alright, the day started.
Weeks before the Night, both Eric and I had planned to meet up earlier to Play guitar together.
So we Met at 2.30.
At 2.10 Eric actually Message me saying: I Just Woke up!!!
I thought Wow!!! Fantastic!!!Ok
fancy waking up at 2pm. never tried that one before!!
So we went to AMKSS, while walking in we talk alot.
Eric kept trying to avoid any contect with the current NCC cadets. But they are just everywhere. Why avoid?
Ok went to a corner of the school compound, and we started guitaring.
We played many popular hits like: HOME by Daughtry, etc.
Also i finally know the importance of having a Capo.
I need one badly!!!!!!!!!!
At 5.30, we went to AMK Mrt to meet the rest of our platoon mates. Whom we would travel in to School together. Once at the Mrt we saw Jun liang, Jing Xian and Gordon already there. After a while Benjamin came along and than Bao Yi reached. WE all went back to AMKhub in search for some "gift" for the cadets or something like that.
We spent alot of time debating if we should go for dinner together. Just go eat lar??
Soon at around 6++. We went to school.
Back at school, i continued to play guitar.
Till around 6.30, whereby the event starts.
We were already treated like Alumni. That set me thinking: Am i That Old?
Once most people arrived, the show started.
Though the Guest-of-honour wasn't here, we had the Pilot to start the event. Gave a "small" and "short" talk than the show went on.
It Started out with two boring Emcees.
Than the Beautiful PDS (Precision Drill Squad) performed.
Followed by the different platoons performances.
The weird thing about tonight's CO Night was an Interval. Everyone was caught by surprise. Nobody dared to stand up till most of them sort of ordered us off the seat.
Ate some of the BBQ food and drank the AMK famous blend.
Than the so-called second segment started.
At least this time round the show was made alive.
With my cadet, Adil as the Emcee. The night will never be the same. He is a natural borned entertainer. By looking at his face, given that retarded look, is enough to leave you laughing for a darn long time.
Adil lead the show. and everything seem more entertaining.
The current cadets came out with a quite nice skit performance about this gay being a regular at the Army as a PTI.
It was highly entertaining, with the Gay really GAY. haha
At the End of the show both me and Diam Han agree on one thing: Our School had done a good job in promoting that Gays should look forward to a wonderful carrer in the army as PTI.
And if my PTI was certaining a GAY, though i maybe scared, but i'll be greatful if he were to onli ask us to do 5 chicken dance instead of the 5BX. HAHA.
The last performance is by my Platoonmate, Bing Hong and my own Cadet, Jun Li. They soloed PDS, and wowed the crowd very much.
The Last event of the Day was some Photo takking session. Since it's quite a historical day with so many old batches comming together for a campfire.
After the campfire, Eric, Benjamin and i went for a movie at AMKhub.
Many will know as three as very good friends.
We watch Madagascar 2: Escape 2 Africa
Will make a blog entry as a movie review soon.
And will post the pictures of tonight's event soon as i get my hand on it.

AT 10.20, i left the house to meet Sok zhen and David at AMKhub. The appointed time was at 11am. And i reach at 10.56am.

Than at hub we met Bing Hao(he's blonde). Chat a little before going on to a bus ride to Sok zhen's house. we took bus 86 for like? 15 stop??
that was fairly far enough...
Her house was quite big, i must say. A little smaller than my cousins'. ok never mind about that. The main thing was Guitaring/Shredding
Went to her Supposedly karaoke room? to play for the rest of the afternoon.
We had great fun, Doing all sorts of stupid stuff.
Than David came out with his :Under the BanYan tree.
We starting to go crazy over it.

We had The famous JALAN KAYU PRATA for Dinner. Had 1 kosong, 1 keju prata,1 telur bawang prata and Milo Dinosaur!!
And that was filling. Dam full after the prata.
After dinner we went home.
I took Bus 86 with Sok Zhen back, while pathetic David was left waiting for his direct 103 bus home.
Another exciting day ahead tomorrow, NCC Air annual Campfire.

Woke up at around say 8??
As usual, dig out of bed by my father for breakfast, and to send my sister for her Violin lessons at Cristofori at Chong Pang Market area. (Or what's known to my family as 103 market)
Ate the same famous Bee Hoon.
I'm dam tired!!! Due to pass Late night. I'm turning norturnal!!!
Alright the lesson went in a flash and We were on our way to Tanjong Katong complex.
The Complex was at Geylang.. So... Dont think dirty...
It was quite a long journey to the complex so everyone had a short snooze on the way. While i stared at people's Wheel.
Been having that habit since young...
However long the journey was, we were still too early at the complex. It was around 10.45. And Synwin music opens only at 11am. Why must most shop's in Aingapore open at 11am??
Alright so we went walking round the Old complex just to pass the time.
At 11am++ the shop open and we went in. I was excited. Finally my Violin. my first instrument is being revived
So send my bridge of my violin for repairs , than my sister's violin bridge.
After the repairs, i went over to the guitar section.
The salesman, Mr Fasser Tay was very friendly, i got to learn alot of new things about guitar. including how to hold the guitar correctly, My way would lead to very bad habits in the future. also i learned alot about the different wood affecting acoustic instruments.
And Damn man!! i almost got to buy a handcrafted Rosewood guitar with handcrafted pearl on it.
and adding on, the price was a steal, S$280.

Anyway's my dad promise to get it next saturday if possible. Plus, modify
the ...Kapok.
After the Synwin visit, we went back to Junction 8 for my sister's course again, than vivocity.

A day of many events.
Woke up clearly thinking that it was going to be a boring and normal day.
But i beg the differ...
During breakfast at Burger King, I was told that my Grandmother was to come for a visit.
Immediately i knew, It's not going to be a normal day.
AS usual... once the new that someone is coming to my house get to my mother's ear... She'll go all mad in cleaning up the place.
Went home to a mini spring clean. Than another shocking news came.
Sok Zhen call for a guitar lesson at my place.
i was shock...
OK. Than the morning just flew by.
Helped with the housework. Than my grandmother came at around 10.30am. We chat a little than watch my uncle's wedding video.
Than Sok Zhen called and arranged the lesson to be at 12.30.(lunch time actually)
OK at 12.30 i went to the MRT to fetch her to my place.
once home again, it was Lunch time.
So i/We took her out for lunch at the newly open Hong Kong Cafe at Northpoint2
Lunch over and back home for lessons
We play guitar the entire afternoon. i manage to teach the HEY NOW by Fm static First verse to her. YAY...
than we went on to watch some Music video. Hear a couple of nice Rock tune on Sok zhen's blog.
I want some of those song.
Time really fly when one is having fun. Soon i sent Sok Zhen off to the MRT.
Than back home.
On the way back, met my eldest uncle(mother side). Bought Oyster omellette. When home and had a small interrogate. Than i fell asleep till dinner

The gruelling o level is finally over...
The time has come to relax like there's no tomorrow...
I've been waiting for this day to come for a long time. Finally my chance at jamming a a "professional" so-call studio.
Alright, my day started at 6.40, waking up all excited for the very last o level paper.
The Multiple choice paper for Combined science. It went quite smooth, the paper.
Immediately after the paper at 9am. i was all fired up for Play. The first activity planned out the previous day was to go for a jamming session. I've been waiting for this chance for a long time. Ever since i started learning to play my electric guitar.
But before we could go mad....
We were held back, Had to filled up a ridiculous CCA form and many still owed General the TIME CAPSULE Items....

a box created by the General Herself for us her Evil minion to store item which would hence leave us thinking at least ten year later, what on earth was i thinking by placing my Stapler there?
So, Arranged with Daniel to meet up at a later time before jamming.
Being too bored to go home (which also means that once home I'll be a couch potatoe and be a geek playing Xbox...)
I Drag David on a trip to Peninsular Plaza first. To Check out the Beautiful Guitars around. Anyhow David was scouting about for good acoustic guitar and good Electric guitar. And I a fantastic 15-20 Watt amplifier. The 10 watt SX amp is killing me.
Ok.... Indeed we went for some serious hunting to burn the time. Went from shop to shop to test/try their guitars and consulting the expert on guitar.
At first we weren't sure of where would be a good jam studio to go to.
Daniel arrived kept showing off his camera, than an unexpected addition to the group came.

Ok so effectively before Sok Zhen arrived, we already booked the studio, It wasn't quite what we originally planned for.
Once we "rescued" the "damsel in distress" the jamming session commenced!!!
However, being totally noobs at jamming and playing in unision or whatsoever... everything was just experimental.
The jam studio somehow did not turn up as Nice. The guitar were all old. Amplifier's sounded weird. No distortion...
But never mind. Good musician would always be able to make good music out of even the most badly conditioned instrument.
Alright in the studio, Daniel and David spent most of their time wacking the Drum aimlessly. i was attempting all my best to Teach Sok Zhen (not that it was difficult<>). David and Daniel were just too loud.

i just hope that She had learn much today.It was only towards the end of the session did we had some organisation.
Over all the session was fun-filled and we all had a good feel of How jamming was like. Looking forward to more sessions in the future.
Ok after the session we went out, or rather beside the plaza to Funan. We had a late lunch, starving for the sake of Music. I ordered a MEGA BigMac, a limited edition BigMac. Ok. it was reasonably big. Still rather the Botak Jones, U-CRAZY-WHAT!?. That was what i call huge.
Than Daniel's photoshooting session again.
After the meal we went around walking aimlessly again. Just to get rid of the boredom.
While walking we went pass a huge Stationary shop. Sok Zhen went crazy over the "cute" notebook and bought a few.
