Miss blogging for quite a while.. The busy Schedule had Barred me from Blogging.
First of all Today marks the 44th Independent day/ Birthday of my Homeland Singapore. Adding on, its 50th Anniversary of Self Government.
Happy Birthday Singapore.
Lets start with yesterday's celebration program before i fly into the details of Parents-Teacher-Conference a.k.a Parents Day(MI).
The 7th of August was the stipulated day for Millennians to commemorate our Nation's Birthday. This year round, we had the most simplified and boring celebration ever in all our acadamic life. I literary spent my life staring at the Ceiling, Reflecting "Why am i in school for today?".
Was so used to watching a School based Mini NDP parade. This year it was missing. Scaled down celebration to save time and Money, That was what principal Mr Tan Chor Pang Said. I can't blame the school for this...
Oh well there after some Fun Begun. The Expected insane frenzy for Camwhoring after school took place. Since it was Be-Your-Self Day, all were in their home clothes and thus able to go out thereafter.
Went to Vivocity with roughly 1/3 of the class. The Bus Journey was Enlightening enough, given the short span of some morning snoozes. Reach Harbourfront in a blur.... haha. Some others too.. haha.
At Vivo, we spent time slacking, learning Magic, talking, some had some catching upon friendship, joke, laugh, eat, waste time, stare at blank space, make a nuisance at Toy R' Us
and plenty more to waste our life away. ha
But it was worth while to relax. Take a Day break before going back to relentless countless mugging session and homework.
Now backtrack..........................................
PTC/Parents Day at Millennia Institute.
Went smoothly had minimum complains. Just being too talkative and all.
Saw the Atrocious results, Fail all H2 Pass 2 H1.
This Spells Retain.
Talk to both my HTs and my Econ's teacher, Mr Lai.
Had many comments and had to take personal corrective order.
Other than those, the PTC this year wasnt as "eventful" as past year. A good Omen??
So Right now..... Forward to promoting to Pre-U 2 in 2010!!
