Saturday 22 November.

Woke up pretty early. Again for my sister's Violin sake.Went about the usual things. Kenneth had to go to school early in the morning for His school open house. His Debut PDS performance today. Good luck man!!!

After My Sister's class, we went home for a while for my medicine and a toilet pit stop. After that we were off to Synwin. This time with my Dam Old Kapok and finally my new acoustic guitar. Once at Tanjong Katong Complex, Cheralyn kept pestering my mother for the Sardine sandwich she had last week while repairing both our violin. of course lunch was around the corner and thus she did not get it....

At Synwin, We asked to be served by the same guy whom introduced me to the strong acoustic guitar he has to offer. His name was Fasser Tay. However, he wasn't there till around 12pm, so we went round the complex once again to let the time pass by till he reports for work. (we were there at about 11.30 as the shop only opens at 11am). Once he arrived, the shop attendant called my Father and i was more than ready to get my KAPOK recondition and to reduce the Action. Also to Finally get a proper Acoustic guitar.

But by gainning this acoustic guitar, I have place a stop to all other thing i have planned for my "After O level Fun Pack" My intial plan was to get a New Amplifier for my electric guitar (at least 15watt with guitar effects build in), An IFO (I Love to fly one of those) and maybe a new acoustic guitar. But now, its a stop on those. I'm not rich and my Father has difficulty in finding money. So..... A DAM GOOD ACOUSTIC GUITAR FOR NOW.

Alright, so the Guitar salesman came. i passed him my KAPOK and he brought it in to recondition it. 5 minutes later, he came out saying: Your 4th, 5th and 6th strings have worn out, i change ar??

Ok... so i changed the strings. Lowered the action by a tinny little bit. Now the guitar strings look so shinning!!! (photo at the bottom of the post). While he was at my KAPOK he pass me one of his new stock that he brought out. The sound was not very good. Of course i go for sound quality and not the bloody brand.

Once done he came out and started to introduce me to some other guitar. Unfortunately, the guitar that i wanted from last Saturday was already sold. So he took out a few other for me to try. The sound was quite Sharp and mellow at the same time just what i wanted. However, still not really what i was looking for. Until around the last minute when i was about to purchase another guitar i was egg on by my father to go have a last look at the entire range of guitar. It was than i saw another one that fit my liking.

I immediatally fall in love with its sound.

Also priced at 278.20 w/GST... I bought it. Thus my New Guitar is borned.
